A teenager has been charged in connection with firearms offences in Lowestoft, as officers continue to appeal for witnesses to the incidents to come forward.
On Sunday afternoon of the 7th June, a man is reported to have gone to a flat in Albany Road but was not let inside. A door and window was then shot at causing damage.
Meanwhile, in the car park outside immediately after this, two people – also known to the suspect – reported having a gun pointed at them. The weapon used is believed to have been a gas-powered pellet gun.
A 17-year-old from Lowestoft was arrested in connection with the incidents – and has now been granted bail pending an appearance at Ipswich Crown Court next month.
Detectives believe that there were a number of people in the vicinity of Albany Court when these incidents occurred – and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward by phoning Suffolk Police on 101 or by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
