Warning of Fake Vaccination Texts

As moves to step-up the rollout of the vaccine to combat the pandemic – Suffolk Trading Standards are warning people about fake text messages being sent out by scammers.Texts claiming to originate from the NHS offering the Covid-19 vaccine have been reported – and a link on the text takes you to a fake NHS website.

This website then requests personal and financial details – which you will NOT be asked for in order to receive the vaccination.

To help stop the scam, you can send fake texts to 7726.
