Warning After Leiston Fire

Two people had to be taken to hospital – after a house fire in Leiston started when a mobile phone was being charged.

The incident happened on Waterloo Road – with Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service warningpeople about the dangers of charging phones at home.

Fire Service area manager Andy Smith shared these images of the damage caused by the fire on Friday evening (3rd March).
