UK First for the James Paget Hospital

The James Paget Hospital is leading the way in ensuring people with learning disabilities or autism get their vaccine for Covid-19.

​The Hospital has set up the first special needs clinic in the UK – to make it even easier for those that need it, to get the innoculation.

Nurse Rebecca Crossley came up with the idea when she realised the number of questions and forms you get asked when having the jab may put some off.

Now the more accessible special clinic for people with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism will run once a week.
