Two Men Charged Importing Drugs on Suffolk’s Coast

Officers from Lowestoft CID have charged two men from Lancashire in connection with importing class A drugs.

The charges are in connection with a multi-agency response involving the police, Coastguard, RNLI and Border Force, which took place off the Suffolk coast.

The incident occurred during the evening of Wednesday 30th September, when two men were located in the North Sea with a jet ski.

Lowestoft Lifeboat was part of the response team and reported ‘big seas and high winds’ at the time of the recovery operation.
