Police have arrested a young man in connection with drug offences in Saxmundham.
Officers on patrol had cause to stop and search an 18-year-old, under a Misuse of Drugs Act in the Suffolk town last week, with three others failing to stop when requested.
Later, one of the three men, a 16 year old, was found a short time later in St Johns Road.
He had a quantity of suspected drugs, cash and drug-related paraphernalia and was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
He was subsequently released under investigation. Meanwhile, the 18-year-old man was given a warning.
Anyone concerned about drug-related activity in their neighbourhood should contact police on 101 or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
