A busy east Suffolk road is set to remain shut for much of the coming winter, weeks after high tides led to it being flooded.

The B1127 that links Wrentham with Reydon and Southwold, is still closed at East Bavents.

Diversions are in place via South Cove and Wangford – and as well as local traffic, bus routes and timetables have also been affected.

High spring tides in November flooded the road – which has been vulnerable to being water logged a number of times over recent years.
