Suffolk Crime Team’s 500 Arrests

.Suffolk Constabulary’s team dedicated to reducing crime in the area has hit the 500 arrest mark.

The three “Operation Sentinel” teams, who have been active since late May last year – provide an enhanced coverage of Suffolk’s road network.

In recent months the team have been responsible for arrests including drug possession, Money laundering and fraud.

Work on ‘Gull Wing’ to start in Spring

Work is set to begin on Lowestoft’s Third Crossing over Lake Lothing in the spring of next year.The announcement comes, after Suffolk County Council’s Cabinet unanimously approved the building of the Lake Lothing Third Crossing in Lowestoft last week.The County Council have said that it will be Suffolk’s most significant infrastructure development in recent memory and one of its most visually iconic. ​The bridge has been officially named as Gull Wing by children from Somerleyton Primary School.
