Suffolk Chamber of Commerce is working with a range of public partners to host a free workshop this month. The workshop is aimed at helping local businesses to better understand how to make the most of local procurement processes and procedures. Expert speakers during the morning will include Mark Fisher, Procurement Manager, East Suffolk Council and Jane Garnett, Procurement Lead for both the NHS West Suffolk and NHS Ipswich and East Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Groups. Following on from the speaker sessions, there’ll be an opportunity to visit procurement representatives from public partners – as well as a practical interactive workshop. This will include preparing a response to a tender requirement, which will then be scored as part of the workshop – so may the best bidder win! The free workshop will take place on the morning of Wednesday 12th February from 8.30 to 11.30, at the Ivy House Country Hotel in Oulton Broad – and booking is essential.
