Emergency services have been on standby following Storm Pia’s gale force winds and risk of flooding

High water levels on The Broads mean that many train services between Lowestoft and Norwich have been cancelled – with some on the East Suffolk Line also suspended.

Parts of Beccles and Bungay have been at risk of flooding – and Potter’s Bridge between Reydon and Wrentham has again been a flooding casualty and closed during late Thursday and into Friday.

Tide locking on The Broads has left water levels high – as pictured below on Thursday evening at Oulton Broad.
