Storm Francis Sweeps Across Suffolk

Storm Francis brought some disruption to our part of Suffolk this week, as winds  gusting to more than 50mph swept across the county.

Tree damage was reported in places, with the A47 at Gunton, north Lowestoft blocked by a fallen tree for a time early on Wednesday morning.

Meanwhile, Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park had to evacuate visitors from the tourist attraction on Tuesday – because of the high winds.
