Following the Government’s announcement that England is to go into another lockdown this month, the leader of Suffolk County Council’s has called the move a ‘serious wake up call’.

Matthew Hicks also said that a second wave of COVID-19 poses a greater threat to Suffolk life – because its very existence shows that we need to do even more to stop the spread.

The news of the lockdown comes as many businesses and entertainment venues have been able to reopen – however, for the time being, the message from the county council is to ‘stick with it Suffolk’.
