Serious Road Accident in Leiston

Police are appealing for witnesses, following a serious road traffic collision in Leiston.

Officers were called to reports of a single-vehicle collision – which occurred soon after 11 o’clock Saturday evening on the 29th August, in Park Hill.

The incident involved a silver BMW 325, which left the road and collided with a tree opposite the recreation ground. 
Emergency services attended the scene – and the driver was taken to Ipswich Hospital, with potentially life-changing injuries. 

Any witnesses to the collision, or anyone who may passed a silver BMW in the area just prior to the accident, is asked to contact the Roads and Armed Policing Team on 101.
