Railway Line to Close for Track Renewal Works

Railway operator Greater Anglia is set to begin track renewal work on the Wherry Line, which runs between Suffolk and Norwich.

Engineers will replace approximately 4km of track in the Cantley area.

As a result, there will be a week-long closure of the line from 11pm on Friday 14th August – with the line scheduled to reopen on Monday 24th August. 

A rail replacement service will run and passengers are being advised to  check with Greater Anglia before they travel for the latest information and travel guidance.
