Police Appeal After Man is Assaulted in Kessingland

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses, after a man in his 70s was assaulted in Kessingland.  

The incident occurred between 4pm and 4.15pm on Friday 3rd July in London Road, between the junctions of Cliff Farm Lane and Field Lane. 

The victim, 78-year-old man, was driving along the road when he overtook three cyclists – a man and two children.

The man then made hand gestures and shouted at the victim, so he pulled over to speak to him. The suspect leaned into the car window and punched the victim in the face, causing a tooth to fall out. 

The suspect is described as white, aged in his late 30s, with long ginger hair and facial hair. He was wearing a grey t-shirt, grey shorts and a cycle helmet.
