Suffolk’s Police and Crime Commissioner, Tim Passmore, has been praising the ‘fantastic’ response here in the county to the ‘Home but Not Alone’ campaign. People have volunteered their time to help the most vulnerable in Suffolk - as they adjust and deal with government advice to ‘Stay Safe and ‘Stay at Home’ because of COVID-19. ‘Home but Not Alone’ aims to connect those volunteering with community groups, charities and local councils offering volunteer roles - and is being coordinated by Community Action Suffolk. Tasks for those assisting with the campaign including working with the Suffolk Good Neighbour Scheme, Food Banks and Local Councils responses.
