A major Lowestoft superstore has shut its doors for the final time.
After 20 years of trading - Homebase on the Pakefield Industrial Estate closed yesterday (Sunday 8th December) - with Store Manager Mark Simmons saying has been a 'sad day for staff'.
However, all those at the store have been offered interviews for positions at a new Sainsbury’s supermarket. This is due to open next summer in the same building.
