Southwold Stroll for Suffolk's Ed

Suffolk's own Ed Sheeran was spotted in Southwold this week, sparking excitement among fans. Was he simply enjoying a bit of fresh sea air, or could this visit hint at new music on the horizon from Framlingham’s favorite singer-songwriter?

Helen and her family were enjoying the cooler weather when they bumped into one of the world's hottest celebrities on Tuesday.

Helen was speechless on meeting the 'Castle on the hill' star. The family grabbed a quick snap with Sheeran and bagged his autograph.

Ed didn't share what he was up to in Southwold, but with the Mathematics tour ending - Sheeran has teased new music in a recent Instagram post.

Ed has recently teamed up with Richard Curtis for a new festive film 'That Christmas'. It's with an original song from Ed. It's going to be set in a seaside town and stars Brian Cox, Fiona Shaw and Bill Nighy. The song is out at the start of December and you can bet you will hear it a great deal on East Suffolk One.

Could Southwold be staring alongside Sheeran in the music video for the animated film?
