A public meeting is set to go ahead in Reydon - as concerns continue over plans for a major energy project.
The ‘LionLink interconnector’ - which would carry electricity produced by both offshore wind farms and from the Netherlands, is planned to reach the Suffolk coast at Walberswick.
There has been opposition to plans for the development, which National Grid says will be the first step in the journey to a more interconnected North Sea grid - and enable the cross-border flow of clean electricity through subsea cables.
Reydon Parish Council is hosting a meeting tonight in the Village Hall at 18:30 - and says it will discuss the next stages of the challenges ahead for Reydon and the wider area.
