Suffolk Police are appealing for witnesses or information after a man was injured in Lowestoft.
Police were called by the ambulance service to Edgerton Road shortly before 11.20pm on Wednesday 18 December after attending an incident in which a person suffered a single puncture wound to the chest. Officers continue to investigate what caused the injury, the circumstances of the incident and where any incident may have taken place.
The injured party, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life changing.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses or anybody with information, including those that may have CCTV or doorbell cameras in the Edgerton Road area, or that were driving in the area between 10.30pm and 11.40pm.
