It’s been confirmed that Leiston's last bank will shut this spring.
Barclays say that the branch on Main Road will close for the final time at midday on Friday 2nd May.
The news comes despite a campaign to keep it open - and will leave the town with no high street bank.
Meanwhile, also this coming May, just a few days later - the Beccles branch of Lloyds Bank is also set to shut its doors for the final time.
