Millions Paid to Support Suffolk Businesses
Almost £53 million has now been paid out to local businesses here in east Suffolk, as the Council continues its efforts to support them during the COVID-19 pandemic.
As part of the Government’s business grant scheme, East Suffolk Council has so far paid out a total of £52,930,000 to 4,621 local businesses.
This has been achieved thanks to an additional push from staff around the council – who have joined the effort to contact local businesses in East Suffolk – and this has involved calling over 1,800 businesses directly.
