Almost £53 million has now been paid out to local businesses here in east Suffolk, as the Council continues its efforts to support them during the COVID-19 pandemic.
As part of the Government’s business grant scheme, East Suffolk Council has so far  paid out a total of £52,930,000 to 4,621 local businesses.
This has been achieved thanks to an additional push from staff around the council –  who have joined the effort to contact local businesses in East Suffolk – and this has involved calling over 1,800 businesses directly.
If you think your business is eligible for the scheme, then more information and full application details can be found online, by going to the East Suffolk Council website.
