A man has been jailed for 10 weeks following an incident in Lowestoft.
Officers were called after a report of criminal damage and assault on Saturday 1st August at a flat in Trafalgar Street.
A man had kicked the bottom pane of glass from a communal door – and then demanded money from the two occupants, a man in his 40s and a woman in her 70s.
A third man in the property was also assaulted and had his mobile phone taken. Further damage to three internal doors at the property were also sustained before the offender left the premises.
29 year old Aaron Crinnion of no fixed abode, was charged with assault and two counts of criminal damage. He has been given a 10 weeks jail sentence for two counts of criminal damage and one of assault.
