Man Charged After Lowestoft Firearms Incident

A man has been charged following a firearms incident in Lowestoft… The incident took place on 9th April,police were called to Pakefield Street in the town following a report of a man threatening to harm himself. 
Officers, including armed response, dogs and police negotiators, attended the scene and a road closure and police cordon was put in place.
 A 43-year-old man was arrested the following evening on suspicion of possession of an imitation firearm with an intent to cause fear of violence.
 Jeff Sacks from Pakefield Street in Suffolk town has now been charged for the possession of an imitation firearm with intent and a further charge of harassment,,,  He  is due to appear at Ipswich Crown Court on Tuesday 7th July.
