A Stately home in Suffolk – has become the setting for a popular television series.

Filming for The Crown has been taking place at Somerleyton Hall – which was used as a setting for the Royal retreat of Sandringham.

Somerleyton Hall social media posts said that it was ‘an honour’ to have the Netflix series there – with several key scenes shot at the Suffolk mansion depicting Sandringham, as this is where the Queen always spends Christmas.
