Lowestoft Road Reopens After Tree Damage

A busy Lowestoft road that was shut after severe gales has now reopened…

High winds brought down a tree across The Ravine – causing damage to the concrete structure on the road…

Last week’s wintry weather came after Suffolk had its sunniest month of March on record.

However, today has seen a rash of heavy blustery showers with hail across east Suffolk – and some very strong winds, with a Yellow Warning issued by the Met Office.

The next few days will be fairly chilly with overnight frost risk… but Suffolk’s weather is expected to become much milder next week.
