Lowestoft Incidents of Suspected Arson

Police are appealing for witnesses after two suspected incidents of arson in Lowestoft.

Officers were called to reports of a small fire on Wednesday 16th September at 1:15pm, at the public toilet block in the cemetery, Gateway Lodge on Rotterdam Road.

The fire was quickly extinguished by the Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service and nobody was injured. However, a second suspected arson took place at the same location on Sunday 20th September.

Officers are appealing for witnesses and ask that anybody who saw anybody behaving suspiciously in the vicinity, to contact Lowestoft police.
