Lifeboat Called to Help Angling Boat

The first day of 2021 saw Lowestoft Lifeboat receive its first callout of the New Year.

Shortly after midday on Friday, an angling boat with engine failure because of contaminated fuel made an emergency call. It was around three quarters of a mile off the harbour pier heads at Lowestoft.The boat was safely towed into the harbour – arriving back just before 1pm.
