Theatres here in Suffolk are celebrating, after receiving money from the Government’s Culture Recovery Fund.

Bungay’s Fisher Theatre, the Jubilee Hall in Aldeburgh and the Seagull and Marina Theatres in Lowestoft are among our local venues to receive grants.

The Marina Theatre has received over £300,000 to help in fighting the challenges of the pandemic – and to ensure it has a sustainable future.

Emma Butler-Smith, Chief Executive at the theatre has told East Suffolk One, that the money is life-saving for them and means that plans can now be made for for the coming months.
