Knife Robbery Attempt Sparks Police Appeal

Police are appealing for witnesses after an attempted robbery in Lowestoft, which happened on Sunday 30th August in Belvedere Road, close to the Fyffe Centre.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was approached by another man on a bicycle who demanded he hand over his wallet – and is also said to have partially withdrawn a knife with a 4 to 5 inch blade from his pocket. 

The suspect is described as  being white, in his 30s, around 6 feet tall, slim build with short brown hair. He was wearing a grey hooded top, dark coloured tracksuit bottoms and was riding a silver coloured mountain bike.

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anybody with information to contact Lowestoft Police by phoning 101.
