‘Gull Wing’ Crossing Set for Lowestoft Skyline

County Councillors here in Suffolk have given the final ‘green light’ for Lowestoft’s Third Crossing over Lake Lothing.

The decision follows the  recent unveiling of the town’s ‘Masterplan’ ambitions – as well as investments to protect businesses and residents from flooding for 100 years, 

Meanwhile, a panel of representatives from the local councils, local organisations and the town council, led by MP, Peter Aldous, unanimously agreed that Gull Wing would become the new bridge’s name.
