Flood Waters Slowly Fall in East Suffolk

The New Year has seen more heavy rain has fall across east Suffolk, this following months of wet weather.

Flood waters across the area are now finally easing down slowing – but after a number of Flood Alerts and Warnings were issued.

Pictured below in the River Waveney at Wainford, near Bungay on Saturday afternoon (6th January).

Across the Waveney Valley – water levels have been high, as seen here at Barsham and Shipmeadow.
