Following recent heavy rain across east Suffolk, flood waters are finally starting to get lower.
The wet autumn and now winter weather has seen a number of Flood Alerts and Flood Warnings issued.
Many roads have been affected included the A12 at Yoxford and A146 n the Brampton and Uggeshall areas. Debris washed of fields has been left on many of our areas roads.
Meanwhile, the River Waveney remains high and over the weekend, East Suffolk One caught this image at Wainford near Bungay just ahead of Saturday’s sunset.
Large areas of the Waveney Valley were under wayer, as seen here in the Brasham and Shipmeadow area.
You can sign for Flood Warnings and Flood Alerts by signing up on the Environment Agency website.
Whilst drier conditions this week will be welcomed, the colder weather has already seen some snow flurries in Suffolk.
