Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was injured in a fail-to-stop collision in Lowestoft.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:50pm yesterday, Tuesday 29th March, on Rotterdam Road.

The cyclist, a man aged in his late teens, was in collision with a small silver car which failed to stop at the scene.

Just prior to the incident it is believed there may have been an altercation between two drivers, including the silver vehicle, who reportedly were beeping their car horn at the cyclist.

The cyclist sustained a minor hand injury.

Any witnesses to the incident, or anyone with information, is asked to contact Suffolk Police.
