Lowestoft Archaeological and Local History Society are extremely pleased to be able to bring this talk to our town and invite you all to attend:

'THE DISCOVERY of THE ROYAL GLOUCESTER' by JULIAN BARNWELL One of the two diving brothers who discovered the wreck, which ran aground off the coast of Great Yarmouth, in 1682, nearly killing the Duke of York, who became King James II. Hailed as the most important maritime discovery since Mary Rose.
The talk will be at SOUTH LOWESTOFT METHODIST CHURCH on London Road South on the corner of Carlton road. Please enter at the London Road South entrance. Vistors are very welcome for a £5 charge - payable on the night.
