Dementia Roadshow at Yoxford

This event is being organised and delivered in partnership between East Suffolk Council, Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care Board, Suffolk County Councill, Alzheimer’s Society, Christie’s Care, and Halesworth Dementia Carers Fund.

This event is free to attend and are open to members of the public of all ages, including people with memory concerns and those with a dementia diagnosis and their families, friends, and carers. At the event in Yoxford attendees will find the following:

• A warm welcome
• Free refreshments
• Free parking
• Information stands representing local services and organisations supporting people and their families affected by dementia or those people who have memory concerns
• Information and support available on topics such as dementia awareness, support groups, signposting to relevant organisations, advice on benefits, care options, power of attorney
• A designated area for activities, including chair based, awareness training, exercise, boccia
• Trained carers available to assist attendees, allowing family members or carers to engage with services present on that day
