FREE home-mentored cooking course for vulnerable people in Lowestoft and Ipswich
Bags of Taste is a non profit initiative which aims to help those struggling with food costs or are on tight budgets, such as families, single parents, pensioners, unemployed people, people with long term health issues,... by running FREE home learning courses. If you would like to save money, learn to eat more healthily, and impress friends and family with your new found skills, then this is the course for you! We deliver a bag of free ingredients to your door containing everything you need for 3 healthy, tasty and low cost meals. We then provide support via WhatsApp to guide you through the 2 week course.
This is LOCAL money for LOCAL people, funded by Suffolk Community Foundation through the Wider Horizon Fund and the Food and Drink Fund in Lowestoft and Bluebell Grantmaking Programme in Ipswich.
