Thorington Theatre

Thorington, Nr SouthwoldIP17 3RB

Thorington Theatre is a new outside space in wonderful Suffolk. It is being constructed on a zero carbon footprint model as all the timber having been sourced from the surrounding woods. The site is a bomb crater from WWII, which left a natural amphitheater.

Thorington Theatre’s inaugural Summer season, 2021, was a magical line up of varied entertainment from award-winning stand-up comedy to classical opera. We are currently in the exciting process of finalising the programme of events for Summer 2022 and our Box Office will re-open in the Spring.
