Celebrating Suffolk’s Beaches
Three Suffolk beaches have been awarded ‘Seaside Awards’ – placing them amongst the best in the country.
This year, Seaside Awards have been awarded to the beaches at Lowestoft, South of Claremont Pier, Southwold and Kessingland.
Each year, the country’s best beaches are awarded Seaside Awards by the environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy.

The Award recognises and rewards beaches in England, that achieve the highest standards of beach management – and in the case of bathing beaches, meet the required standards for water quality and other criteria.
