With Lowestoft’s First Light Festival set to return this summer, organisers are once again looking for volunteers to help and get involved.

In 2019, volunteers undertook an impressive 261,  4-hour-long shifts over the course of 24 hours – that’s over 1000 hours of work.

Organisers of this year’s non-stop 24 hour festival have said that their future plans are ambitious and exciting – and are hoping that they will get help to deliver what promises to be another amazing Suffolk event in 2020.

With free access and over 150 free events, the programme is set to be broad and inclusive, encompassing big names acts whilst also shining a light on local talent and cultural organisations.
