Bird Flu in Suffolk

Suffolk Trading Standards and council officials are starting to knock on doors of homes of anyone who owns ducks or chickens in east Suffolk

It comes as the latest cases of bird flu have been confirmed this week – the 8th since beginning of March – and 3rd just to the south and inWoodbridge.

Thousands of birds have been culled since the outbreak began and owners of poultyr and other birds are being urged to protect them.
