An outbreak of Bird Flu has been confirmed at a site between Lowestoft and Beccles.
A 3 kilometre Protection Zone and 10 kilometre Surveillance Zone have been put around premises in the village of Mutford, with wild birds also reported to be found dead with the disease.
The number of Bird Flu cases across East Anglia continues to rise – with Suffolk Trading Standards asking people who need to report possible new cases to contact DEFRA – the Department for Enviornment, Food and Rural Affairs.
Guidance about – or to report a suspected case of Bird Flu – can be be found from DEFRA here.
