Be Safe – as Suffolk’s Lifeguard Patrols Return

Lifeguards maybe back on Lowestoft’s South Beach and Southwold North beach – but the RNLI is urging visitors to seasides this weekend – and throughout the summer – to be beach ready.

They say their guards can’t be everywhere, so take extra care and avoid unnecessary risks.

More staffed beaches will be added du ring the half term at the end of May – in what is expected to be a busy season for Suffolk’s beaches.

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses following a serious collision in Ilketshall St Lawrence on Tuesday 20th April.
