Appeal After Lowestoft Arson

Officers are appealing for witnesses after an arson attack in Lowestoft.

The incident took place on Edgerton Road in the Suffolk town, between 8:00 in the evening on Sunday 8 March and 8:00 the following morning on Monday 9 March. 


A small container of accelerant was thrown into the back of a parked Volkswagen Golf car, smashing the window and causing significant fire damage to the vehicle. 


Nobody was in the vehicle and nobody was injured.


Anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw anything suspicious – or who has any information, are asked to contact
​Suffolk Police by phoning 101 or by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
