Man in Serious A12 Road Accident Dies

A man has sadly died following a road traffic collision in Lowestoft.

Police were called to Bloodmoor Road shortly before 11.55am on Friday 25th March, following reports of a three-vehicle collision involving a red Ford Focus, white Vauxhall Vivaro and white Volkswagen Tiguan.

The road was closed in both directions while officers and the ambulance service attended the incident.

The driver of the Ford Focus was taken to Norfolk and Norwich Hospital by air ambulance. The man, aged in his eighties, sadly died at hospital on Saturday 2nd April.

Any witnesses to the collision are asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, quoting CAD 135 of 25th March.
